1. Membership Terms
1.1 General Membership Rules
✅ Membership in SAIC is open to individuals, families, and businesses who support our mission to build and support the South African-Canadian community.
✅ Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
✅ Membership benefits and perks may change at any time without prior notice.
1.2 Right to Refuse or Cancel Membership
SAIC reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate a membership if a member:
❌ Engages in behavior that is harmful, unethical, or disruptive to the SAIC community.
❌ Misrepresents their business or personal identity in a way that could harm the community.
❌ Uses SAIC’s name, resources, or platforms for fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities.
❌ Fails to adhere to our values of respect, inclusion, and community support.
If a membership is terminated for any of these reasons, no refunds will be provided.
2. Founding Membership & Business Membership Policies
2.1 Founding Membership Listings
🚀 Founding Members are recognized permanently on our website as early supporters of SAIC. However, SAIC reserves the right to remove a Founding Member’s listing if:
•The individual or business is found to be engaging in unethical or illegal practices.
•The member’s actions negatively impact the SAIC community or reputation.
•SAIC determines that continued affiliation is not in the best interests of the organization.
2.2 Business Membership Listings & Removals
•Business Members are showcased on the SAIC website and may receive promotional benefits.
•SAIC does not endorse or guarantee the quality, services, or legitimacy of any listed business.
• If a business is found to be scamming, misleading, or harming the community, SAIC reserves the right to remove their listing immediately without notice or refund.
3. Use of Website & Information Disclaimer
